River Edge Accommodation is the perfect destination when you want to experience the Western Cape Winter Wonderland. Savour our local red wines in front of a cosy fire and marvel at the views of the surrounding mountain peaks covered in snow. With down duvets, electric blankets, hot Jacuzzis and wood firing fireplaces we reckon we can beat the cold winter weather.

New hours for our Farm Shop

River Edge Accommodation Farm shop new trading hours: Mondays and Fridays from 8:00 – 16:00, Tuesdays to Thursdays 8:00 - 13:00 and on Saturdays 08:30 till 13:30.

Our lovely farm shop serves a scrumptious breakfast. Don’t miss out on our amazing baked Cheese Cake and freshly ground coffee.

Lovely unique gifts from selected suppliers for the whole family!! Thandana Nappy Bags, Mongoose pouches, Urchinart ceramics, Ohlief products, Gowi toys and loads of homemade jams etc. We recently got new scarves and silver earrings!!

Most relaxing getaway

Most Relaxing Getaway!First time in years I've slept so late - beds incredibly comfortable, friendly hosts, beautiful setting, and well-equipped cottages. In Winter the fireplaces are amazing and I can only just imagine how wonderful swimming in the river right outside your cottage must be. Kids enjoyed fishing, and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake. Will definitely be back!
Hidden Gem

Wow. Stunning views and birdlife. House comes with everything you would need and more. Clean and neat. Was very grateful for the stash of fans as it was so so hot. Good fun in the river on the boats and swimming. Braai facilities and fully kitted out kitchen. We'll definitely be back!

Fabulous spot

Fabulous spot, kitted out with all you need for a comfortable stay. Location is secluded, with the river perfectly positioned right on the doorstep. Will certainly head back again.
